The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience in cybersecurity and threat analysis to act as subject matter expert and to advise Government personnel on streamlined processes and techniques for conducting the items listed under the below core functions as a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert.

REQUIRED:
  • 8 years related experience
  • Active TS Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Experience drafting and reviewing analytical products
  • Experience conducting all source research and link analysis in a cyber threat hunting context
  • Conduct research, binary analysis, and reverse engineering of suspicious and malicious software to determine functionality, complexity, and impact of its implementation on victim/compromised systems of interest
  • Link and correlate digital information, such as, threat data (victim/source IP addresses, URL, malicious software), actor contacts or personal data, system logs, obtained from single or multiple sources and develop attribution
  • Experience with analysis of security and event logs, web logs, 0365 logs, and net flow data
  • Experience analyzing cyber intrusion activities
  • Conduct analysis using open source and provided technologies and threat intelligence to make recommendations on analytical procedures for NDCA to address cyber threats and vulnerabilities targeting U.S. interests

Summary:
The Web Software Developer designs, develops, and implements software packages for websites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and implement software codes.
  • Build and optimize secure web pages for evolving business needs.

    Must be able to train Information System Owners (ISOs) and Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) on the processes and procedures of navigating through the RMF phases, security issues, and managing risk through a Plan of Actions and Milestones.

    Must be able to write, developing, and audit policies and procedures to ensure information systems meet cybersecurity compliance.

    Must be able to conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews, of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs. Also be able to provide guidance and how to correct and/or correct security vulnerabilities discovered.

    Must be able to implement and audit Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) or have experience in applying security technical settings to mitigate risks.

    The Counterintelligence (CI) Division for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Conducts CI activities (investigations, operations, collection, analysis and production, and defensive functional services) to detect, identify, assess, exploit, penetrate, degrade, and counter or neutralize foreign intelligence collection efforts, sabotage, espionage, and terrorist activities directed against the MDA, its personnel, information, material, facilities and activities. Also serves as the MDA Office of Primary Responsibility to the National and DoD CI and Law Enforcement (LE) communities. Integrates CI products, services and defensive CI activities into all MDA programs and activities to detect, identify, assess, exploit, penetrate, degrade, and counter or neutralize foreign intelligence collection efforts, sabotage, espionage, and terrorist activities directed against the MDA, its personnel, information, material, facilities and deployed MDS assets worldwide.

    Duties include, but not limited to:
